I had read a lot about Fuego South American and Strato Italian restaurants located in the Troika Building. The reviews said the food was amazing which is number one priority and then the views were supposed to be exceptional. We decided to go to Fuego as we have Italian food quite regularly. We were booked for 6pm which is a really great time as you can order a cocktail and watch the city setting go from day to night. The restaurant is an outdoor dining setting with an industrial feel and colourful furniture, a really cool bar and has the most amazing view of the city, especially the KL Tower and one of the Petronas twin towers, the other one is blocked by another high rise!

The Bar at Fuego

The menu consists mainly of tapas options. We ordered seven "little dishes" including a dessert and that was plenty, if not way too much. My thoughts on the food are quite mixed as I loved some of the choices and did not like others. My favourite was the 'Super Spicy Guacamole', the 'Prawn Ceviche', the 'Mushroom' side, the 'Pressed Potato' side and of course the dessert - Mini Ivano Magnum: Homemade Banana & Salted Caramel “Magnum Mini” Icecream Bar, Crunchy Cookie & Banana Cream, Vanilla Aroma.

I did not rate the 'Soft Shell Crab as Nachos' as the batter was so thick with barely any crab and I didn't enjoy the 'Argentinian Squid' as the flavour didn't agree with me however each to their own. Overall it was a great meal.
