Georgetown, Penang is my all time favourite place in Malaysia. I have been there four times and already hope to go back again. There is just something about Georgetown that draws you back and each time you experience something new. They call Penang the food capital of Malaysia and it definitely lives up to this reputation with it's various restaurants, street food stalls and hawker centres. However aside from the amazing dishes you are guaranteed, there is so much else to see just walking through the streets.
The street art throughout Georgetown really draws the crowds here. Ernest Zacharevic who is Lithuanian born and is based in Penang has splashed his recognisable, fascinating and beautiful artwork all over different alleyways, walls and buildings. The way he works his art around various objects on buildings is really creative and unique. Below images are a mix of Ernest's and anonymous street artists. I am sure these will inspire you and your camera to take a trip here!
